What I collect

Only what you choose to send me through the forms on this site:

Inquiry and contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, preferred contact method, and the details of the trip you're thinking about, such as destinations, dates, number of travelers, children's ages, budget, and anything you add in the notes.
Planning worksheet: traveler names and trip preferences you choose to share.
Referral and newsletter forms: the contact details you enter.
Optional discount questions: whether military or nurse/physician discounts might apply. This is optional.

What I don't collect here: payment card numbers, passport numbers, or dates of birth. Please don't send those through any form on this site. When it's time to book, I'll use a separate secure process for them.

How I use it

To reply to you and plan your trip.
To share with the cruise lines, resorts, and other travel suppliers only what they need to price or book the trip you've asked me to arrange.
If you signed up for the newsletter, to send you travel tips and promotions. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.

I don't sell your personal information.

Who handles it

This site is hosted by Netlify, which also processes form submissions on my behalf and delivers them to my email. Your messages are then handled in my email and the booking systems I use to arrange travel.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently use advertising cookies or analytics. It remembers a small preference in your browser during a visit, such as whether you closed the floating "Start Planning" button. If I add analytics later, I'll update this page.

Links to other sites

Pages here link to other websites, including cruise lines, Facebook, and excursion and insurance partners. Some of those are affiliate links, which is disclosed where they appear. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn't cover them.

Your choices

You can ask me to correct or delete the information you've sent, or to take you off the newsletter, by emailing cruisingwithkatief@gmail.com. I may need to keep records of bookings I've already made.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning travel. Forms may ask for the ages of children who will be traveling, but I don't knowingly collect information directly from children.
